Bar del Corso

This place is Beacon Hill’s little secret gem.  I came here for one of my friend’s surprise birthday dinner (word is he loves this place).  The restaurant doesn’t take reservations, but was able to accommodate our large group.  We had to a wait a little though for tables to clear so that the staff could pull several together for us.  The wait was totally worth it.  Everything we ordered that I was able to sample was really good!!  Food was very flavorful.  Probably some of the best Italian I’ve ever had.  I must go back again when I get the chance.

Hard Cider and and Orange Creamsicle cocktail.

Roasted Romanesco and Cauliflower – Housemade Calabrian Sausage

Manila Clams in marinara – before and after shot (the sauce/juice was delicious!)

The owner of Bar del Corso, Jerry, shares the same birthday as my friend.  He did the honor of bringing out a pistachio cake (from Columbia Bakery that birthday boy’s wifey brought).  How nice of him!?
