For my wedding last Summer, I wanted to save money and have some fun customizing and creating my own wedding invitations, programs, dinner menus and decorating my own wedding favor bags. I wouldn’t say that the process was the most fun, but it was definitely rewarding to be able to incorporate my own ideas into the little details of the wedding. I realized during the laborious process of making everything that most of the guests probably didn’t even care or notice these little things. It mattered to me though and I think these little things makes a difference to the overall look, feel and experience of the wedding whether some realize it or not. I’m also the type of person who saves wedding invitations, programs, etc. I guess that also explains why I put so much work into mine, haha. I learned a lot through the whole process and if I were to do it all over again I totally would and do it better!
The wedding invitations personalized with a picture. There were two versions.
These inserts were single handedly stamped. Hard to do with two kitties around.
The wedding program that was whipped together a few days before the wedding.
The dinner menu for the reception.
The wedding favor bags accessorized with flowers, ribbons and thank you charms.
Just in case anyone was wondering, I bought all of my crafts and supplies from Paper Zone, Packaging Specialties, JoAnn Fabric, and some help with croppings and printings from Sudden Printing and Kinkos.
